The Science Behind Leaner Me.
The weight loss program is based on the work of Dr Simeons, who identified the hormonal imbalances affecting obese patients, and created a truly remarkable program to break down stored fat and metabolise it - essentially biochemical liposuction.
Not only did he discover how to correct obesity, he found a way to reset the body's set-point so it wouldn't rebound once the person started to eat a healthy amount of calories again.
Dr. Simeon used injectable hCG hormone coupled with a 500-calorie diet of very specific foods to achieve these amazing results.
We use are a blend of amino peptides designed to mimic the action of hCG, without containing any actual hormones. It is safe to use, even alongside other hormonal treatments and medications.
Using the homeopathic version is just as effective - and thousands of dollars cheaper - than the injectable version. These drops are essential to get results - the diet is not recommended without them.
When the drops are in your system, they instruct the body to break down the stored fat to convert it for energy - and this is where the miracle lies. The hCG directs the breakdown of white fat - not brown fat. This is also why you don't suffer with hunger on the program - well, maybe a little on day 2, but after that it is easy. And many people say they struggle to want to eat the full 500 calories!

White Fat vs Brown Fat
Most calorie-restriction diets result in the loss of brown fat and muscle. This damages your metabolism and leads to unhealthy weight regain - something no one wants!

Brown fat houses heaps of mitochondria - which are energy-producing factories inside your cells. These mitochondria eat up carbs (a.k.a. sugar) to produce energy - that is a good thing! Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I do this if I am vegetarian or vegan? Yes! I have options for plant-based particiants - no-one is left behind.
Q: What support is available on the program? You will have access to our private Facebook group, which is exclusively for people going through the program and your coach is in the group daily to answer your questions. Weekly we have a group Zoom meeting which goes for 1 hour. We are also available on email.
Are the drops safe to use? Yes, they contain no hormone in them and are safe to use with other hormone therpaies, and medications. HCG is a naturally occurring hormone in the body. The drops we use are a homeopathic proprietary blend of amino acids that mimic the effect of hCG, so you are NOT actually ingesting any hormones.
Q: I take diabetes medication, can I do the program? Yes, you can, but you must monitor your blood glucose levels and adjust your medication dose as needed. Talk with your Dr to let them know that you are doing the program so they can support you. I also recommend an additional protein serve in the mornings, which may slow your results slightly, but ensures stability in your blood glucose levels. I am available to advise you in more detail. Q: Will I get hungry? As with any dramatic reduction in calories, you may find the first 2 days have some hunger pains, but after that most people have no or very mild transient hunger pangs (usually before a meal) If you do still have hunger, you can take an extra dose of the drops. It is important to stay hydrated throughout, as thirst can show as hunger too. If this problem persists, you will have immediate naturopathic support through the Facebook group - just reach and we will support you.
Q: I am on a hormone therapy, can I do the program? Yes, you can, there are no known contraindications with commonly prescribed medications, including Premarin, Thyroxine, Tamoxifen, etc. The drops we use are a homeopathic blend and contain NO hormones, so have no known effect on medications.
Q: Can I exercise on the program? We talk about this in the program in depth, but esentially, what level of exercise you do now will need to be reduced roughly by half in Phase 2 due to the low calorie intake. It's only for 3 weeks, you can start to increase exercise again in the stabilisation phase.
Q: Should I stop taking my vitamins and supplements on the program? It will depend on what you take. Any supplements with hidden sugars or oils need to be avoided in phase 2. If you are on supplements to manage a chronic health condition, book in an appointment with me and I can create a plan for you to do alongside the program. (This appointment is an extra charge)
Q: Am I required to exercise on the program? We talk about this in the program in depth. Results are not dependant on exercise, and many people need to reduce their exercise in phase 2. Gentle walking, swimming, incidental movement, and gentle yoga are all good intensity levels of exercise in phase 2, just do as little or as much as your energy allows on the day.
Q: Can I have alcohol on the program? No, you need to abstain to allow your liver to completely detoxify, and release excess fat. You may be able to go back to moderate alcohol consumption after the program, but many people find that staying booze free is the best way forward for their health and their waistline.
